Annual Erasmus+ Information Days were held on the 4th, 8th and 11th of November in Yerevan, on the 23rd in Gyumri and on the 24th in Vanadzor. The events were aimed at beneficiaries and informed about the Erasmus+ Programme, it’s Call for Proposals launched in October 2016 and on several actions relevant to the international dimension of Higher Education: Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE), Credit Mobility, Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees (EMJMDs) and Jean Monnet Actions.
Special Information Day on Jean Monnet Actions of Erasmus+ Programme was held at the Centre for European Studies of the Yerevan State University (YSU) on November 11 and on November 24 in Vandazor State University. The session presented to Armenian academic community all important facts, figures and details of JM Action. Session held on November 11 was fully dedicated to Jean Monnet Actions. Prof. A.Markarov started the session, speaking about YSU's experience in implmenting Jean Monnet Actions. His Introductory remarks were followed by presentatiotios delivered by Ms Lana Karlova, Coordinator of Erasmus+ National Office and Ms. Kristine Gevorgyan, representative of the Centre for European Studies, YSU.
During the presentation, representative of the Centre for European Studies spoke about previous and current Jean Monnet Projects implemented by the Centre: DESCnet Project and Jean Monnet Modules. She also spoke about application procedures, signled out important headlines, such as project description, methodology, team composition, budget, project challenges and benefits.
